About Me
I am a Marketing Communications Specialist and Professional Writer with international experience. I have a passion for the New Media Arts and incorporate graphic design, video and original photography into my work. I write professional blogs and opinion articles for local news media. I write professional website content, social media and app content.
Recently, I have been in demand as a freelance website designer, content writer and editor, graphic artist for brand re-design, public speaker, event planner, marketing consultant, talk radio guest and international voice over artist. In March 2019, I was appointed to the Board of Directors of the new Afro Heritage Association at Royal Roads University.
I hold a Digital Publishing diploma and a Bachelor of Professional Communications degree. I am excited to be combining my leadership qualities, education and professional skills into a unique powerhouse of tools that can take any business to the next level.

Professional Communications
The degree program has given me a holistic view of communications beginning at history, theory, research, media and public speaking; moving into digital, visual, ethical and intercultural communications. The degree program includes a Practicum component which I am completing with the Royal Roads University Diversity Action Group. I have been working as a writer, designer and digital content strategist within Student Services and Student Engagement departments.
2011- 2015
Marketing Communications
After working as an Assistant General Manager of Sales for a national company, I started my own sales and marketing consulting firm and completed a successful contract. After which, I moved into market research, and earned both qualitative and quantitative experience.
From there I moved into digital content writing/management and digital strategy for a waste management mobile app company. I started writing professionally, then became a Global Experience Travel blogger for Centennial College after being the face of the Continuing Education department.
While working abroad, I was offered an extended contract as the International Web Content Manager for a marketing firm. During which time, I had my own radio talk show!

Worked as an event planner, telecommunications specialist, high-end retail sales person for national companies.
